TLDR Use Shadowself responsibly and legally. You are accountable for your actions and how you use our service. We are not liable for issues arising from your use. Breaking these rules can lead to consequences, including loss of access.
Welcome to Shadowself! By accessing or using the Shadowself service, website (shadowself.io), and any related applications or features (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Shadowself ("Us"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
Description of Service
Shadowself ("the Service") is a web application designed to empower users in protecting their online privacy and anonymity. The Service enables the generation and management of synthetic digital identities. These identities are configurable and may include elements such as temporary phone numbers, virtual payment card details (for authorized use), temporary email addresses, proxy service integration, and generated personal data attributes (e.g., names, nationalities). The primary purpose of the Service is to provide users with tools to manage their digital footprint when registering for and interacting with third-party online services and related activities.
User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials (username and password) and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive for an extended period or are found to be in violation of these Terms.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is illegal, unauthorized, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Engaging in any criminal activity, including money laundering, identity theft, hacking, fraud, or any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
- Harassing, abusing, stalking, threatening, defaming, or otherwise infringing or violating the rights of other party.

- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained therein.
- Using the Service to transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or other items of a destructive nature.
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, usernames, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links, or other content or materials (collectively, "Content") that you submit, post, display, or manage using the Service. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to any Content you use in connection with the Service and that such Content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Shadowself and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Germany and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Shadowself.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by in the settings page of your account. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Shadowself, nor its affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shadowself and its affiliates, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) Content posted on or through the Service.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. Shadowself, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 7 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect, which may be provided by posting the new terms on the Website or via email to registered users. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Shadowself regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
Waiver
No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and Shadowself's failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
